About our Golfing Events

We offer Wenesday night weekly events during the spring and summer months, plus specially organized weekend golfing trips to nearby golf resorts. Check these pages for the schedules.

Wednesday Night Golf at Jefferson District Park: We play in the spring and summer each year starting around 5:00PM. Participants are notified by e-mail of their specific starting times. This is casual golf for those that want to get in a "quick-nine" in the evening. We welcome the inexperienced as well as the experienced golfer! The idea is to come out after work, meet other Ski Club golfers and join in playing a round. Wear your SCWDC golf shirt so we can recognize each other. Afterwards we can meet at a local restaurant for food and refreshments and to compare scores.

Fees: $17 for 9-holes

Weekend Golf : We plan Spring, Summer and Fall trips to easy-driving-distance golf resorts.  The weekend plans include golf at two different courses and some combination of happy hours and dinners.  For those that can leave early on Friday, sometimes another golf round is scheduled on the way to the resort, although this cost is not included in the weekend trip price.  The plans for each weekend are different, so check out the event listed below. Most weekend expenses are covered in the price except your gas!
