July Picnic Pool Party/Summer Get-Together

Date: Tuesday, July 3rd (First Tuesday of the Month), 5:00 to 8:00

Cost: Members, free, this is your benefit for being a member; Guests accompanied by SCWDC members, $10
(Guests:  Sign in/pay at Membership desk with your SCWDC member.)

Our host for this Summer gathering is Leo Boelhouwer, current Vice-President, past president, "King" of the 4th Annual Pool Party in his Kingdom.
Come cool off in the pool, and enjoy the company of fellow ski club members on a warm summer evening.  
The Ashby Apartments is a hugh complex - a very large set of grounds, large paved deck and large free space grounds, plus large pool/deck.  

We’ll have plenty of food and beverages...
- Beer, Wine and Soda, Party food will be provided.  We're going to bring in tray-style hors d'oevres from Wegman's, & Pizza from a local pizza shop
- Are you able to go out of town for the rest of the week?  Can you head to the beach on July 3?.  Great for you, we'll miss you.  
- Most of us, we can't leave town. BUT, we can have a great time at the July 3 Pool Party.
- July 4 is one holiday that does not shift - we are 'stuck' with a mid-week party.  In the big scheme of things, the birth of USA, it's OK and more than OK.  
- Come to the July 3 party!   Makw plans tonight to go to the July 4 fireworks tomorrow.  
- Bring with a guest, pay $10, he/she will have 1-2 beverages, & some of our dinner food, and the $10 will be an easy downpayment on dinner. 

- Large Pool is available - Bring your bathing suit and towel, and a change of clothes.

- The SCWDC Board of Directors and President plan this event and are present to make it work
- Members, this is your party!  Come out, enjoy!

- Past July Pool Party events, we've had 100-125-150 attend.  

Location and Directions: Take exit 46B off 495 to 123 North (AKA Dolly Madison). Continue on 123 past intersections with Great Falls Rd and Old Dominion to Beverly Rd. Turn right on Beverly Rd (there is a large Cardinal Bank sign at the intersection). The Ashby (1350 Beverly Rd) is the second apartment house on the right. Look for a ski club member to tell you where to park. Call 703-973-3873 to enter the building at the main entrance.
