Bike and Barge at Tulip Blossom Time in the Netherlands
Dates: April 22-30, 2011 (Friday to Saturday)
Cost: $2,425
Note: There will be an $35-60 approximate increase for limited travel insurance (medical costs and repatriation insurance), which is required for all SCWDC overseas trips. This insures that anyone that is injured or gets sick, has a paid-for way to get back. The price will be finalized in the next few days, by Oct 15.

Cancellation: Cancellation fee is $40.00, until January 15, 2011. After that, you are responsible for unrecoverable expenses if you cancel and your space is not filled by another person. Read the full cancellation in the flyer/registration form.

Trip Includes:
- Round Trip Air on KLM nonstop to Amsterdam
- Airport tax and security fees
- 7 nights double occupancy lodging on chartered premium class barge. the "Magnifique"
- 7 breakfasts; 6 bagged lunches for cycling days
- 7 dinners
- 6 days bike rental (8 speed, hand and hub brakes comfey bike!)
- Cycling guide; maps and route description- Daily coffee and tea till 4 p.m.
Not Included: Full travel/cancellation insurance but available at a discount price allowing a credit for the premium paid by the club included in cost of trip; Train fare (3.60 EUR each way) from airport to barge; beverages at dinner are available for purchase; Entrance fee to Keukenhof Gardens; Gratuities at your discretion. You need a current passport, but you don't need a visa.
With the bike and barge tour you will visit famous historical towns, picturesque cities and beautiful landscapes in the surprising varied “Green Heart” of Holland, part of the Netherlands. Highlights are Amsterdam with it’s beautiful canals, the harbour city of Rotterdam, Delft with it’s famous Delftware factories, cheese city of Gouda and all the windmills all along the way.

Click on bikeboat tours and the southern route. We will be touring a modified version of the Southern route, on the new barge “Magnifique”.
