Directions below.  This hotel was formerly a Holiday Inn.  

Free Parking below the hotel (enter from Crystal Drive) or take Metro to Crystal City station.  Parking on Crystal Drive AFTER 6PM is free.  If you park on the street before 6PM, you must feed the meter.  Arlington County has full time meter cops in Crystal City that patrol and issue tickets, VERY EFFECTIVELY, up until 6PM.  

Join us for our regular monthly Membership get-together --- meet your SCWDC colleagues, hear about the latest SCWDC news and events, meet your trip leaders.

Before all our Tuesday meetings, we meet upstairs at Veranda Café, above the lobby. Grab a beverage and some light hors d'oeuvres while you catch up with your ski friends.  (The meeting will be held in the same room.)  

The Evening's Schedule:

6:00 to 7:00 PM - Happy Hour at Veranda Café in the Hotel
7:00 to 7:30 PM – Visit with Trip Leaders and Exhibits 
7:30 to 8:00 PM – Brian Beaumont of Ski Center (he is an expert in all ski and board subjects...this is third year coming.)

DIRECTIONS
For those taking the Metro, get off at the Crystal City station and walk north "3 blocks."   The Metro is on 18th Street and the Hotel is just north of 15th Street.   The only cross streets are 18th and 15th.  You have the choice of using the underground tunnel or the street.  If you use the latter, the most direct route is to exit Metro to the east, going out to Crystal Drive and walking north.

For those driving:  if you have not been to Crystal City in the last couple of years, it has been changed from a set of only one-way streets, to mostly two-way streets.  To get your customized directioins, you can use one of the commerical sites like www.mapquest.com or Google Maps.   Click on this link to see the hotel's directions.
