Description
Mammoth, California
February 27 - March 6, 2010
Mammoth Mountain provides over 3,500 acres of amazing High Sierra terrain - wide open bowls, steep chutes, tree-lined cruisers, terrain parks and half pipes that draw skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. More than 150 trails for every temptation dot the landscape with names like Hangman’s Hollow, Climax, Broadway, Mambo, and Hansel and Gretel. Thirty lifts quickly move you between Main Lodge, Canyon Lodge, and Little Eagle.
Thirty-two feet of snow blanket the mountain between November and June giving you tons of terrain to explore. You choose whether you want to float through the open bowls swelling with powder, get big air through one of the three terrain parks, fly through a steep chute, carve your way through the trees, or enjoy a gentle, gradual passage amidst the perfectly groomed trails.
