Welcome to the Ski Club of Washington, DC's web site. If you are not already a member, I invite you to view the our website and see how much we offer - Skiing and Much More. For 70 years the Ski Club of Washington, DC (SCWDC) has been one of the most successful ski clubs in the US. With 2,000+ members, we are one of the largest ski clubs and we hope one of the best. Our club is run mostly by volunteers, including me.

First and foremost, we are a club of skiers and boarders. We offer more than 40 trips each year to most of the world's premier destination resorts including East Coast destinations. For all level of skiers and boarders, we have our own ski and snowboard school certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America, and a complete schedule of affordable one-day ski and snowboard performance enhancement trips to local areas as well as weekend trips to resorts in West Virginia. For those in search of powder, trips are planned in the West, in Canada, and in Europe. After reading this, navigate over to our Skiing area. SCWDC Skiing
Our club draws members mostly from the environs of Northern Virginia, the District of Columbia, and the Maryland suburbs near Washington. We also belong to the Blue Ridge Ski Council (BRSC), a group of 22 ski clubs in the mid-Atlantic area. These clubs have a lot to offer too and might be nearer to your home.
