For the skier who wants to enhance her/his skills the Eastern Trip Program is offering three weekend SPE (Ski/Snowboard Performance Enhancement) trips. The instructors for these are the ski club's professionally accredited ski/snowboard instructors who will help polish participants' skills.

Western/International trip destinations include ski resorts in Colorado, California, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Alaska. International trips include British Columbia and Alberta, Canada and European countries such as Switzerland, France, Italy and Austria.

Western U.S. trips include air, ground transportation, lodging and lift tickets but generally no meals. Europe trips include air, ground transportation, lodging, trip insurance and usually include breakfast and dinner, however, lift tickets are almost never included.

Eastern ski trips usually include air or bus transportation, snacks and beverages on bus trips, lodging, some meals unless otherwise noted, and lift tickets.

Reciprocity with Blue Ridge Ski Council member ski clubs. SCWDC is a member ski club of the Blue Ridge Ski Council (BRSC). As a member ski club, SCWDC members can sign-up for ski trips with BRSC member ski club at that club’s member price rather than guest price. Likewise, BRSC member club members can sign-up for SCWDC ski trips at SCWDC member prices. We want you to take our trips because of our great members and trip planning. If our trips don't fit your schedule, look at the other BRSC trips at the Blue Ridge Ski Council web site. The BRSC consists of 22 clubs. Not all of each club's trips are advertised on the BRSC web site, so you may want to navigate over to the individual sites.
