A Word from the Sports Chair

Join us for Tuesday Evening Summer Softball!
Our season begins May 6 and will continue each Tuesday during the spring and summer seasons at 6:00 pm. We revisit our annual fling to recapture our youth on the lush diamond of green and dirt at Roundtree Park in Annandale, Virginia (please see directions below).
For the newbies, we welcome all players, male and female, of all ability levels – these games are strictly for fun and we offer equal-opportunity chances to excel (we don’t count strikes, and Bill’s team always wins)! If you have your own glove or equipment, great; if not, we share nicely. After the game, neither
rain, sleet or snow will stop us from having pizza and beer to discuss the finer points of the game.

Tuesday Night Softball
Date & Time: Starting Tuesday, May 8th and every Tuesday Night,
6 PM til Dark through the summer.
Cost: $1 per person per night
Location & Directions: Roundtree Park, Annandale, VA
From the Beltway in Virginia, take Exit #50 Eastbound also known as Arlington Boulevard or Rte 50 East. Drive 2 and ½ miles and take a right on Annandale Road at the stop light. Roundtree Park is just past the light at the intersection of Graham Round (about 1.5 miles from Rt. 50), on the left side. We will be using Field #1 in the back of the park.
